Preparing for a new plant

Here is a brief guide to what you can expect at each stage of a new plant project.

Stage 1: Enquiry received

  1. We confirm the full requirements of your plant, including output rates
  2. We raise your quotation
  3. We provide plans of the proposed plant on your site plans
  4. We supply you with a programme of works.

Stage 2: Order placed

  1. We provide plant loadings and layout drawings, and supply foundation bolts
  2. We provide general arrangement drawings and confirm final details
  3. The plant goes into production
  4. We arrange visits to our works so you can track progress
  5. We provide health & safety files for site approval
  6. A final inspection takes place at our works before delivery of components to site.

Stage 3: Delivery to site

  1. We set up the site for the plant build, including the site office and welfare facilities, and carry out site inductions
  2. We deliver the plant to the site and install the mechanical and electrical components
  3. We hold weekly site meetings with you to solve any problems
  4. We carry out pre-safety inspections prior to running checks on the plant
  5. We commission the plant and carry out trial loads
  6. A full plant inspection is carried out, including safety checks, before we hand the plant over
  7. For 12 months we make regular inspections to monitor the plant’s operation and production rates.
